Gary Wano, Jr.

Gary Wano Jr., a second-generation collision repairer, co-owned G.W. and Son Auto Body in Oklahoma City, a family business founded in 1985. He chaired the Society of Collision Repair Specialists in 2008 and 2009 and led the Oklahoma Auto Body Association. He served on the I-CAR board of directors, co-chaired the Collision Industry Conference Anti-Fraud Committee, held leadership roles with CIECA and the National Auto Body Council, and served on Audatex, State Farm and Mercedes-Benz advisory councils. In 2017 he received the first March Taylor Memorial Fund Kina’ole Award, and SCRS named him a national Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
