John Kent

John Kent was a State Farm Insurance claims executive who retired in March 2004 after 35 years with the company. As a senior claims consultant in State Farm’s Auto General Claims unit, he presented the insurer’s revised repair procedures to the Collision Industry Conference in December 2000, after State Farm dropped its shop reference list. Elected to the Hall of Eagles in 2003, he could not attend the December ceremony in Orlando, Fla., so Scott Biggs inducted him at the CIC planning meeting in Palm Springs, Calif., in January 2004.
