Frank Terlep

Frank Terlep began working to bring technology to collision repair in 1986, when he launched Automotive Solutions, developer of the M.A.R.S. shop management system. In 1993 he was one of 14 people who launched CIEDIS, now CIECA, and was elected its chairman. He helped build an online parts procurement platform at Carstation.com, founded Summit Software Solutions in 2001 and in 2019 launched Auto Techcelerators, whose ADAS CoPilot platform won a 2022 SEMA New Product Award before he sold the company to Opus IVS. He attended his first Collision Industry Conference in 1990 and chaired CIC in 2023. Sales of his 2019 book, “Auto Industry Disruption,” benefited the Collision Industry Foundation.
