Joe Sanders

Joe Sanders spent 20 years in collision repair as a Texas shop owner, sales and marketing manager and acquisition executive. He chaired NACE, using his 1996 opening address to call on estimating providers, paint makers, insurers and I-CAR to address repairers’ problems, and served on the boards of ASE and I-CAR. BodyShop Business named him Executive of the Year in 1995. After selling his two Texas shops to Caliber Collision in 1997, he became Caliber’s senior vice president of corporate development. In late 2002 he joined the Automotive Service Association’s national staff as Collision Division administrator, and in 2003 he co-moderated the National Industry Issues Forum. He received an inaugural Emeritus Award in 2006.
