Denny Kiyohara founded ARMS, the collision repair management software and education program of the 1980s whose instructors the Hall of Eagles was first created to recognize. In 1989 he co-founded AutocheX with Ray Kihara and Rick Wakazuru and, as president, built its customer satisfaction index service for repairers and insurers. Ensera acquired AutocheX in 2001, and it became part of Mitchell International, from which he retired in 2004. Over some 25 years he served on numerous boards, including I-CAR and ASA. In 2005 he succeeded Scott Biggs as administrator of the Hall of Eagles, charged with refining its nomination and voting process and forming an oversight board. He received an inaugural Emeritus Award in 2006.
