Ian McIntosh co-founded Kirmac Collision Services with Ken McIntosh in 1973 and served as its CEO. The family-run company, based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, grew into a network of collision repair centers in the Vancouver area, entered Washington state in 2000 and opened 12 locations there before selling its U.S. operations to Service King in 2014. Through its Kirmac Cares for Kids program, the company supported BC Children’s Hospital. His son, Sean McIntosh, was Kirmac’s director of operations by 2018 and its president by 2024, and succeeded him as president and CEO by late 2025. By July 2026 the company had 29 locations in British Columbia and Alberta.
