Mel Hunke

Mel Hunke was the lead estimating instructor for the 3M ARMS management training series and kept teaching estimating for decades, presenting courses at the Vision trade show in 2003, at an I-CAR event in Missouri in 2004 and for the Iowa Collision Repair Association in 2009. He served on the Certified Automotive Parts Association Technical Committee. With the recycler coalition Quality Replacement Parts, he organized roundtables where recyclers and repairers worked through recycled-parts issues, and he later was general manager of PRP Midwest. He was a founder of the Nebraska Auto Body Association and served as its administrator when the group was revived in 2014.
